About this policy

Battery Monitor is provided by Satok Hardware. This policy describes the data handling supported by the current Android application. Privacy contact: info@satok.site.

Data accessed and stored

Battery Monitor accesses battery information reported by Android while the app is open: battery percentage, charging status, temperature, voltage, power connection type, and battery technology when available. Available readings depend on your device.

When you start a charging session, the app stores timestamped readings, session start and end times, observed duration, observed charging time, and the reason the session ended. It uses these records to show starting and ending levels, percentage-point changes, charts, history, and statistics. Saved reports are local copies of session records, including their readings.

The app also stores your temperature unit, recording interval, notification preference, and alert rules, including their percentage thresholds, charging direction, and enabled status. These records and preferences are stored in the app's private storage on your device. Monitoring does not require an account.

The inspected monitoring code does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos, or financial information. It does not send battery records or settings to the developer.

Purposes and foreground operation

Battery information is used to display current readings, record charging sessions you start, calculate session summaries and statistics, and evaluate your battery percentage alerts. Settings are used to remember your choices.

Recording operates while the app is in the foreground. Sessions end when power is disconnected or the app leaves the foreground. Readings are recorded at your selected interval of 15 or 60 seconds and when the reported battery level changes. The app does not reconstruct missing observations or continue recording in the background.

Notifications

Battery Monitor requests notification permission on Android versions that require it. With notifications enabled, the app can show a local notification when a reported battery percentage crosses an enabled threshold while the app is open. Notifications contain the threshold and charging or discharging direction and may be visible according to your device's notification settings. You can change alert rules and notification preferences in the app or disable notifications in Android settings.

Sharing, advertising, and third-party components

The inspected application contains no implemented transmission of monitoring records to a developer server, no sharing feature for reports, and no identified advertising, analytics, or remote crash-reporting SDK. Its declared libraries support the interface and local app operation.

The Android manifest declares Internet and advertising ID permissions. No advertising ID access or advertising functionality was identified in the inspected source. A declared permission alone does not establish that an identifier is collected or shared.

The application also includes a WebView component capable of loading a configured terms and privacy page with JavaScript enabled. The current entry state opens the native monitoring interface. No monitoring-record upload to that component was identified. If a remote page is loaded, its server may receive ordinary connection information, such as your IP address and request details. The inspected source does not establish that page's operational data practices.

Android backup is enabled in the application configuration. Depending on your device and backup settings, Android may back up and restore app data through your configured backup service. Such backups are governed by that service and your device settings; they are separate from the app's monitoring functions.

Security

The app stores monitoring records and preferences using Android private SharedPreferences storage, which relies on Android's application access controls. No additional app-level encryption of these records was identified. No transmission of monitoring records was identified, so encryption in transit for those records is not an implemented monitoring feature. The security and retention of any operating-system backup depend on the backup service. No storage or transmission method can guarantee complete security.

Retention

The app has no implemented automatic expiration period for recorded sessions, saved reports, alert rules, or preferences. Local records remain until you delete them or remove the app's stored data. History display filters do not delete older records. Backup copies may remain according to your backup provider's settings and retention practices.

Deletion and your choices

In Settings, use Clear recorded history to remove recorded sessions. This also stops any active session. Saved reports remain until separately deleted. Use Clear saved reports to remove all reports, or Delete report to remove an individual report. Alert rules can be deleted from the Alerts screen.

You can remove the app's local records and preferences by clearing its storage through Android settings or uninstalling it. Manage any backup copies separately through your device or backup service; restored backups may restore previously saved records.

No in-app remote deletion-request process is implemented. For privacy questions or deletion assistance, the designated contact is info@satok.site. Because monitoring records are stored locally and are not uploaded by the inspected monitoring code, the developer cannot directly delete those records from your device.

Children's privacy

Battery Monitor is a battery utility. The supplied information does not establish an intended age range or a specific audience of children. No account, age-entry feature, or transmission of children's information was identified in the inspected monitoring functionality. Local battery readings and records are handled as described in this policy regardless of the user's age.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to Battery Monitor's features or data handling. The revised policy should describe the practices of the version being distributed. Review it when an updated policy is made available.
