Privacy Policy for Date & Time Toolkit
About this policy
This policy describes the data handling supported by the current application source and supplied Store listing for Date & Time Toolkit. The developer is Satok Hardware. The privacy contact is info@satok.site.
Information processed by the app
Date & Time Toolkit works offline without an account. It processes the dates, times, durations, time zones, names, and calculation options you enter to provide date calculations, working-day calculations, recurring schedules, time conversions, world clocks, countdowns, and its built-in calendar.
When you save entries, the app stores their names and associated inputs on your device. These may include important dates, recurring schedule rules, countdown target times, timer durations, selected time zones, and saved calculation inputs. It also stores preferences such as your workweek, manually excluded dates, clock format, and calendar week start.
The app reads the device's current time and system time zone to display local time, calculate time differences, and update countdowns. This does not involve accessing your geographic location. Its calendar is internal to the app; the inspected implementation does not access your device's calendar, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera.
Purposes and local storage
Your inputs are used to perform the tools you select, display results, restore saved entries, and apply your preferences. On Android, saved information is kept in the app's private SharedPreferences storage. The browser preview uses browser local storage.
Countdown completion appears inside the app. The current implementation does not schedule background alarms or send completion notifications.
Collection, sharing, advertising, and third parties
The inspected implementation does not transmit your saved entries or calculation inputs to the developer or an app-operated server. No account service, analytics SDK, advertising SDK, remote crash-reporting service, or data-sharing integration was found in the inspected source and declared dependencies. The current user interface does not display advertisements.
The Android manifest declares Internet and advertising-ID permissions. However, the inspected application code does not use them to retrieve an advertising identifier, serve advertising, or transmit app data. These permissions alone do not establish that information is collected or shared.
The app uses Android and Kotlin/Compose libraries for its interface, local storage, and calculations. No third-party service receiving app content was identified in the inspected implementation.
Device backups
Android backup is enabled in the app configuration. Depending on your device, Android version, account, and backup settings, the operating system may back up or restore saved app information through its backup services. Such backups are controlled by your device and backup provider, rather than by an app-operated synchronization service. Consequently, local storage does not guarantee that information will never be included in a device backup.
Security
Android stores saved information in the app's private storage. The inspected code does not add application-level encryption to saved entries. The browser preview relies on the browser's local-storage protections. Storage failures may generate diagnostic error messages in local Android logs or the browser console; no automatic remote reporting was identified.
No app-data transmission was identified, so encryption in transit is not applicable to the current app's own data handling. Device backup security depends on the relevant platform and provider. No storage or security measure can guarantee complete protection.
Retention and deletion
Saved entries and preferences remain in local storage until you remove or change them, clear the app's storage, or otherwise remove the stored data. Completed countdowns remain available in History until you delete them; completion does not automatically erase an entry. No automatic expiration period is implemented.
You can delete saved calculations, countdowns, important dates, and recurring schedules using their in-app Delete controls, and remove world-clock entries using Remove. Deleting an entire recurring schedule removes its associated dates from the built-in calendar. You can change preferences or clear excluded dates in Settings.
To remove all locally stored Android app information, use your device's app-storage controls. Uninstalling normally removes the app's local data, but existing device backups may remain or restore information later. Manage those copies through your device or backup provider. For the browser preview, clear the relevant site's browser storage.
No developer-held copy of your saved entries or remote deletion service was identified. The developer therefore cannot directly retrieve or erase information held only on your device. Privacy or deletion questions may be directed to info@satok.site. A support retention period has not been established in the supplied information.
Children's privacy
Date & Time Toolkit provides general date and time tools. No specific intended age range was established in the supplied information. The inspected implementation does not request age information, create user accounts, or transmit user-entered content to the developer, including when used by children.
Changes to this policy
This policy should be updated when the app's data handling changes. Any revised policy should describe the practices of the version to which it applies. No automated policy-change notification mechanism was identified in the current implementation.
